All positions above for placement in Jepara, Central Java. All position must proficient in English both written and spoken (minimal TOEIC score 450), as the position will have to interact in a multinational working environment in daily basis.   1. Boiler Mechanical Supervisor (Code: BLM Spv)
    1. Department : Mechanical Maintenance
    2. Superior/User : Mechanical Boiler Leader
    3. Subordinate : Mechanical Boiler Technicians
    4. Education : Diploma degree (D-3) in Mechanical Eng., Naval Eng.  (Senior Technical High School with Experiences more than 10 years as Boiler Mechanical Technicians with large capacity (>400 MW) is encouraged to apply).
    5. Work Experience : Minimum seven (7) years’ experience at mechanical maintenance supervisory level or senior Technicians in power generation, especially Boiler pressure parts and its auxiliary, Pulverizers and rotating equipment.
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Perform and Supervise all Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) required base on CMMS work orders and base on mechanical boiler maintenance procedure and instruction
      • Carry out coordination to other Departments or sections in Maintenance execution Including emergency work
      • Supervise and control quality and safety for contractors during Major Maintenance overhaul or outage work and daily maintenance
      • Collect and keep all data record of repair, calibration, test and measurement result of equipments in Boiler Area
      • Maintain function test of all of mechanical rotating parts/equipments in Boiler Area as well as standard required
      • Report all significant known operational, design, equipment deficiencies/defects to Boiler Leader and record it into CMMS work order
      • Perform periodic maintenance inspections to identify and report status of equipment and system deficiencies
      • Develop of technicians capability and knowledge by technical, safety and non technical training (initial training of newly recruited, general technical, emergency response, first aid, general safety, maintenance procedure, administration procedure etc.)
      • During mobilization period, take part in testing and commissioning and record the specification of equipment’s and test result in correct record database

  1. CHP Electrical Supervisor (Code: CHPE Spv)
    1. Department : Electrical Maintenance
    2. Superior/User : CHP Electrical Maintenance Leader

    4. Education : Diploma (D3) in Electrical Eng., (Senior Technical High School with Experiences more than 7 years as Electrical Technicians in large capacity of Coal Fired Power Station (>400 MW) or Bachelor Degree (S1) with minimum 4 years of experience in large size power plants)
    5. Work Experience : Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance supervisory level or senior Technicians in Power Generation.
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Perform and Supervise all Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) Work base on CMMS work order issued to Technicians and base on maintenance procedure and instruction, for the scope of CHP electrical apparatus, such as LV/HV motors, LV/HV bus bars and switchgear, Transformers and DC systems, , based on Annual Budget and Operating Plan.
      • Supervise and control quality and safety for contractors during Major Maintenance overhaul or outage work and daily maintenance work
      • Collect and keep all data record of repair, testing and measurement result of electrical equipments

    4. Education : Diploma (D3) in Electrical, or mechanical engineering with GPA greater than 3.00
    5. Work Experience : Minimum 5 years in the position of Coal Handling Operations in a large-scale Thermal Electric Power Generation plant of Unit capacity of at least 300MW, or in a coal mine with production capacity in excess of three million tons per annum.
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Promoting safe & efficient operations within the work area of the Unit 5&6 coal stockpile and coal handling plant areas.
      • Safeguarding and improving plant reliability, availability and environmental performance;
      • Supervision, monitoring, training, development and welfare of the CHP Shift Staff in operation of the coal stockpile and coal handling plant.
      • Supervision and monitoring of the Ship Unloader Operators (outside the normal working hours of the Jetty Materials Leader)
      • Achievement of the daily and weekly fuel management plan developed with the Fuel Management Leader and approved by the Jetty & Materials Manager; and
      • Shift by shift coordination with the power block Shift Leader.

 

  1. C & I Supervisor (Code: C&I Spv)

    4. Education : Diploma (D3) in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation. Senior Technical High School with Experiences more than seven (7) years as C & I Technicians or Bachelor Degree (S1) with minimum four (4) years of experience in large capacity of Coal Fired Power Station (>400 MW).
    5. Work Experience  : Minimum seven (7) years’ experience at C & I maintenance supervisory level or senior Technicians in Power Generation.
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Perform and Supervise all Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) Work base on CMMS work order issued to Technicians and base on maintenance procedure and instruction, for the scope of C & I apparatus, based on Annual Budget and Operating Plan.

    4. Education : Minimum Diploma (D3), Bachelor Degree (S1) is preferable in Electrical Eng., 
    5. Work Experience : Minimum 7 years’ experience in electrical maintenance supervisory level in Power Generation, including sub-station facilities
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Preparation of maintenance plans for the electrical apparatus, such as LV/HV motors, LV/HV bus bars and switchgear, Generator including it’s IPB, Transformers, sub-station, emergency diesel generators and DC systems, , based on Annual Budget Operating Plan
      • Monitoring and controlling of maintenance performance in terms of minimizing down time, optimizing the costs, perform effective maintenance tasks, and continuously improving competency maintenance team.
      • Support in developing equipment criticality assessments for prioritizing the maintenance activities and determination of necessary spare parts.
      • Analyzing of any defect and or abnormality report of the equipment to determine any corrective maintenance required to be taken.
      • Managing the team in order to improve maintainability of the equipment.
      • Close coordination with Engineering Dept. in relation to the PdM activities.
      • Close coordination with Engineering Dept. in relation to the re-certification of Plant’s worthiness or other re-certification required by authorized institutions.

    5. Work Experience : Having 5 years Experiences for Senior High School Graduated or 3 years experiences for D3/S1 graduated in Power generation company or other Heavy industries. Having Mill wright and rotating equipment maintenance skill will be an advantage.
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Undertake Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) Work base on CMMS work order issued by Supervisor and base on mechanical BOP maintenance procedure and instruction.
      • Conduct routine function test of all of mechanical rotating parts/equipments in BOP Area as well as standard required.
      • Report all significant known operational, design, equipment deficiencies/defects to BOP Supervisor and record it into hardcopy work order.
      • Perform periodic maintenance inspections to identify and report status of equipment and system deficiencies.

  1. Chemical Engineer (Code: CHE Eng)
    1. Department : Operation

    4. Education : Minimum Bachelors Degree, Majoring Chemical    Engineering with min GPA 3.00
    5. Work Experience : Minimum 4 years in the same position as Chemical Engineer in a large-scale Thermal Electric Power Generation plant of Unit capacity of at least 300 MW, Oil & Gas, or Mining industries. Good knowledge for Steam Water analysis in Boiler Sub-critical/ Supercritical. Strong analytical skills (especially for Coal Analysis & Preparation) experience in procurement management and negotiation skills, good expediting management, and contract management.
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Daily Meeting of all Chemical for water and steam processing activities in 2x1,000 MW Coal Fired Steam Power Plant. Monitoring Boiler tubes after Boiler Chemical Cleaning, and to ensure that water and steam are in good condition during Boilers first firing and throughout Normal operation.
      • Maintain and monitor the chemical parameters and operation parameter in Seawater pretreatment, Desalination plant and DM plant, Chlorination, waste water treatment plant are between limit , safe and working properly, take corrective action as necessary and maintain them within prescribed limits.
      • Managing and Controlling the operational activities of chemical laboratories (Familiar with Preparation & Coal Analysis, good knowledge Boiler Water & Steam Analysis, Water Treatment Plant & Waste Water Treatment Plant Analysis, and Oil Analysis)
      • Implement Quality Control for chemical substances, such as lubricants, resins, reagents etc. to ensure its operated within normal parameters.
      • Provide and reviewing of All Standard Operating Procedure regarding Chemical Plant activity.
      • Controlling and maintaining adequate stocks of necessary chemicals for day to day activities.
      • Development of Annual planning, budgeting, reporting and forecasting in cooperation with other departments.
      • Monitoring and controlling of contractors and subcontractors to ensure work quality is according to contract specification and meeting the minimum standards.
      • Supervision and guidance of Chemist and assistant chemist, including third party contractor’s personnel.

      • Having maintenance competency certificate Level 1 will be preferable.
      • Ability to remain alert during extended working hours.

    5. Work Experience : Minimum two (2) years or equivalent experience in Engineering and/or Maintenance Department in providing mechanical engineering services in the field of thermal power plant, or on chemical or petro plants.
    6. Position overview : The Engineer (Turbine engineer, Boiler engineer, C &I engineer, BOP, Electrical) supports the Engineering Leader in developing the Plant Equipment Criticality assessment for equipment related to Steam Turbine as the plant systems and technical specialist support personnel. They develop procedures to ensure the long-term plant health through the prudent functionality of the Engineering D
    7. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Participating in the team of plant engineers, in supporting the programme in pursuit of plant long-term welfare
      • Development and generation of necessary procedures covering plant engineering and change management aspects
      • Writing of plant change scheme specifications, while ensuring the application of effective codes and standards
      • Executing, monitoring and controlling CM, PM and PdM maintenance items based on plant criticality, in terms of minimizing down time, by proposing effective maintenance tasks
      • Support of the Maintenance team members in resolving technical deviations and investigating and developing the reports of any incidences
      • Support with the technical evaluations of tender submissions
      • Assisting with the development of feasibility studies including return on investment, and cost-benefit analysis
      • Administration of Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO)

    5. Position Overview : The Performance Staff are support of the Performance Engineer and their focus is on the enhancement of overall plant performance, to ensure that the Plant is able to meet its commercial and technical performance targets, while safe-guarding the long-term plant health.
    6. Work Experience :  Minimum 3 years in the role off engineering in a large Thermal Electric Power Generation Plant.
    7. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Developing guidelines, operating instructions, manuals, and procedures, based on equipment manufacturers manuals, for the safe & efficient operations, as well as safeguarding and improving plant reliability, work availability and environmental performance.
      • Supporting the planning and executing for monitoring production schedule regarding plant operation performance to meet management, PPA, and business plan objectives, including production quotas and fuel consumption.
      • Monitoring & evaluation of Plant Efficiency and electricity production and advise Plant Operations and Engineering of any deficiencies and deviations from normal conditions.
      • Conducting measurements and sampling, evaluating & providing reports on Plant Emission Monitoring & Control and advise management of deviations from normal performance, while always seeking methods for improving overall plant performance.
      • Undertaking regular testing of main plant and plant auxiliaries (e.g. Net Dependable Capacity, PF sampling, air heater leakage, feed-water heater performance, FGD performance, condenser vacuum, Auxiliary Power consumption etc).
      • Reporting and documentation including intellectual property and archiving data and information.

 

  1. Shift Staff Plant Operator (Code: PLOP)
    1. Departement : Operation Dept.
    2. Superior/User : Unit Controller
    3. Subordinate :  -
    4. Education : Minimum Technical High School plus Power Plant study, Diploma (D3) or Bachelor Degree is preferable, in Mechanical Eng., Electrical Eng., or Chemical Eng.
    5. Work Experience :  Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Coal Fired Power Plant. Fresh graduate with suitable educational background are welcome to apply.
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Preparation and periodical review of Standard Operation Procedures for sub systems and or systems operation.
      • Patrol work and operation of the sub systems and or systems, including start up and shut down in safe, reliable, efficient manner while ensuring environmental compliance, including system periodic operation switching and it’s confirmation testing.
      • Provision of trouble shooting and or proposals for efficiency improvements on sub systems and or systems operation, to the Unit Controller.
      • Communicate to the Unit Controllers for any findings of defect and or abnormality of the sub systems and / or systems.
      • Periodic secondment for training as Fire Fighting team member, whenever required

 

 

  1. Training Staff (Code: TRS)
    1. Department : Engineering
    2. Superior/User : Training Leader
    3. Subordinate : -
    4. Education : Bachelor Degree (S1) in Psychology, Education, Administration, Industrial Eng., and/or engineering, either mechanical or electrical.
    5. Work Experience : Minimum 3 years’ experience organizing employee training. Having understanding of Power Generation training, including statutory training for competency certification and or license will be preferable.
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Provision of support in preparing and developing training and competency matrix for all positions within the company organization to suit, as per Departmental training need analysis, including if any internal and mandatory training.
      • Provide support in organizing the individual training interventions of each employee, , including the maintaining of records and assessment and feedback of the effectiveness of the training and results acquired.
      • Provide support in communicating with the authorized institutional bodies to determine if any statutory training and or certification requirements are to be undertaken taken by the employees within Power Generation business.
      • Taking care of, and ensuring that the Power Plant simulator training facility is readily available for utilization, and adequately applied, with new operating situations being installed as and when there are plant operating occurrences.
      • Providing support to BJP CSR Department in developing or obtaining suitable training and or education programs for use in the community.

 

  1. Turbine Technician (Code: TB Tech)
    1. Department : Mechanical Maintenance Dept.
    2. Superior/User : Mechanical Turbine Supervisor
    3. Subordinate : -
    4. Education : Senior Technical High School in Mechanical or Diploma degree (D3/S1) in Mechanical Eng.
    5. Work Experience : Having 5 years Experiences for Senior High School Graduated or 3 years experiences for D3/S1 graduated in Power generation company or other Heavy industries Having Mill wright and rotating equipment maintenance skill will be an advantage.
    6. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
      • Ability working at height, shall be able to climb at least fifty (50) feet of ladder to access scaffolding, platforms and other operational areas.
      • Ability to remain alert during extended working hours.
      • Having maintenance competency certificate Level 2 will be preferable.
      • Undertake Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) Work base on CMMS work order issued by Supervisor and base on mechanical Turbine maintenance procedure and instruction.
      • Conduct routine function test of all of mechanical rotating parts/equipments in Turbine Area as well as standard required together.
      • Report all significant known operational, design, equipment deficiencies/defects to Turbine Supervisor and record it into hardcopy work order.
      • Perform periodic maintenance inspections to identify and report status of equipment and system deficiencies.
      • During mobilization period, take part in commissioning test and record it into database.
      • Conduct of maintenance daily work with refer to Permit To Work (PTW) and company safety & environment rule implementation.
      • Conduct and maintain high standard for Turbine maintenance work refer to quality, safety, efficiency and effectiveness concern.
      • Fullfill check sheet completely and in correct manner of maintenance routine inspection work.
      • Attend routine daily safety and technical tool box meeting.
      • Conduct on site coordination and communication with operation and other maintenance sections to rectify complex problem.
      • Inform to Supervisor related with site fault finding, contractor/BJS maintenance work progress, repair and testing result, repair method, manhours, etc.
      • Participate to implement the policy of quality, safety & health and environment within the company.
